Overnight, 52 people rescued from flooded areas in Kherson region

The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Serhiy Kruk, the head of the State Emergency Service, said: "We continue to work and eliminate the consequences of Russian terror. Currently, almost 800 people and more than 170 units of SES equipment are involved."

Over the past day, 52 people (including two children) were rescued, he noted.

According to Kruk, "if necessary, the State Emergency Service is ready to engage another 250 personnel and more than 60 pieces of equipment that are currently in reserve."

As reported, on June 6, Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. The station was completely destroyed as a result of the explosion of the engine room from the inside. Evacuation of the population continues in the Kherson region.
