Another 300 million hryvnias will be allocated for reconstruction work at the Okhmatdyt children's hospital.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video message, Ukrinform reports.

"We will restore Okhmatdyt. I am in touch with the Cabinet of Ministers. There is a first decision - 100 million hryvnias to support Okhmatdyt. There will be another 300 million. There will be other decisions for Kyiv, for the cities of Dnipro and Donetsk regions - we will definitely support everyone. We will help all children, all families - everyone who has suffered," Zelensky said.

He thanked all the Ukrainians who supported Okhmatdyt, who joined the UNITED24 fundraiser and helped.

"I thank the leaders, the countries - everyone who yesterday and today condemned Russian terror. We appreciate your support, friends! We are on the phone - we are working with our partners now so that no one is silent. We want everyone to condemn. And we want everyone to act. We want to make the right decisions that will restore security. Including the decisions here in Washington, here at the NATO summit," the President noted.

As reported, on July 9, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 100 million hryvnia from the state budget reserve fund for priority restoration work at Okhmatdyt.

On Monday, July 8, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and other Ukrainian cities.

In the capital, a missile hit the building of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. Two floors of the hospital's building with an area of approximately 400 square meters were destroyed. Several other buildings were damaged.
