Russian war losses in Ukraine rise to 516,080

Russia's overall combat losses in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and June 7, 2024 amounted to about 516,080, including 1,080 soldiers killed or wounded in action in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 7,834 (+6) Russian tanks, 15,096 (+20) armored fighting vehicles, 13,497 (+64) artillery systems, 1,095 multiple rocket launchers, 833 (+2) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 2,270 cruise missiles. The Russian army also lost 357 warplanes, 326 helicopters, 10,886 (+40) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 (+1) warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 18,416 (+56) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 2,238 (+8) pieces of special equipment.
