The Cabinet of Ministers has redistributed a subvention of UAH 1.7 billion to reconstruction projects in the regions.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced this at a government meeting, Ukrinform reports.

"The government allocated unprecedented funding for rapid recovery. This is more than UAH 43 billion from the Fund for the Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. Today we are approving an important resolution on the redistribution of a UAH 1.7 billion subvention to implement reconstruction projects in the regions," Shmyhal said.

According to him, these are the funds of the European Investment Bank, which the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine directs to the budgets of urban, rural and settlement communities in the government-controlled territories.

As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal earlier said that this year Ukraine needs another $17 billion for the rapid reconstruction of energy sector, critical and housing infrastructure recovery, as well as support of economy.
