According to the NGU, on January 27 in the Bakhmut direction, the 3rd Operational Brigade of the National Guard, together with the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade and the specops unit, spotted the enemy group, identifying their exact location.

It is clarified that the enemy losses could equal the size of a platoon.

"Specops operators identified the target and adjusted the gunners' fire, while fire control was ensured by Guardsmen with the 3rd Operational Brigade, and fire damage was inflicted by gunners with the Armed Forces," the statement reads.

As reported by Ukrinform, on February 1, the National Guard showed their Omega special purpose unit fighters destroying a Russian tank and an infantry fighting vehicle in Donetsk region.
