President forms delegation for talks on Ukraine's joining Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement

President Volodymyr Zelensky has approved the composition of a delegation to participate in negotiations on Ukraine's joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.

The relevant document was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

"To form a delegation of Ukraine to participate in negotiations on Ukraine's joining the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership," the document says.

First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko will lead the delegation. The delegation also includes six officials - representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the State Customs Service and the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The Head of State also approved the directives of the delegation, but they are marked "For Official Use Only".

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is an international trade and economic organization whose goal is to create a free trade zone in the Asia-Pacific region. The organization was created on the basis of a developed trade agreement between its members.
