One civilian has been killed and 23 injured in Russia’s overnight missile attack on the city of Mykolaiv.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the enemy attacked Mykolaiv with the Kalibr-type missiles from the Black Sea. Four missiles were fired with regard to terrain peculiarities and trajectory changes to complicate detection. As these are high-precision weapons relying on coordinates, it is an obvious terror against civilians,” the report states.

According to the South Operational Command, one detached house was destroyed and the other damaged. An apartment block and a historic building were seriously hit. Fires were promptly extinguished. Dismantling works continue.

“Currently, one person has been reported killed and 23 injured, including a child,” the South Operational Command added.

Earlier, Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim reported on Telegram that Russian troops had attacked the city of Mykolaiv with S-300 missiles.
