I thanked her for her personal efforts and leadership in the advocacy for Ukraine, for each adopted resolution in support of Ukraine, already totaling 17! We discussed Ukraine's path towards full-fledged EU membership,” the Verkhovna Rada Chairman posted on Facebook.

Stefanchuk noted that at the 24th Ukraine-EU Summit, the European partners commended Ukraine’s efforts to comply with the recommendations of the European Commission. And now it is important for Ukraine to adapt national legislation to European laws.

Moreover, sanctions against the Russian Federation were also discussed at the meeting. "We have to stop all the possibilities of circumventing these sanctions!" Stefanchuk stressed and thanked the European Union for financial support, macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.

In addition, the officials discussed China's proposals for the so-called "peace treaty".
