According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Macron said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris.
"Ukraine can count on us in building peace. The plan that you offered is an essential basis for discussions on this path, which should lead us towards an international peace conference," Macron said.
He added that the future peace should bring justice to Ukraine and its people and make it possible to "build an area of security and stability for everyone."
Zelensky arrived in Paris late on Wednesday, February 8. He is expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
