Enemy conducting reconnaissance, preparing for offensive in certain directions

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, February 1, published on Facebook.

As noted, the Russian troops launched two missile strikes, two airstrikes, and 24 MLRS attacks during the day. Missile strikes were launched on the civilian infrastructure in Slovyansk and Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit three enemy manpower clusters and a command post.

"Despite heavy losses, the enemy continues making offensive attempts in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka directions," the General Staff noted.

It is reported that no Russian offensive groups have been detected in Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions. Enemy troops are trained in the Republic of Belarus.

In the border areas with Ukraine, the invaders keep specific units, launch mortar and artillery attacks on the Ukrainian settlements, including Kliusy and Yeline in Chernihiv region; Katerynivka, Vovkivka, Oleksandrivka, Volfyne in Sumy region; Veterynarne, Neskuchne, Ternova, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, the areas of Dvorichna, Ivanivka, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne, and Pischane in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region came under Russian fire.

In Lyman direction, the Russians shelled Nevske and Dibrova in Luhansk region, Terna and Serebrianka in Donetsk region.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy hit the areas of Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Druzhba, and New York with tanks and artillery.

In Avdiivka direction, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka were struck.

In Novopavlivka direction, the Russian army fired artillery at Vuhledar, Novoukrayinka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 20 settlements came under enemy fire, in particular, Vremivka in Donetsk region, Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Charivne, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region.

In Kherson direction, Russian troops shelled Kherson city and Dmytrivka village, Mykolaiv region, with artillery.

According to the General Staff data, the invaders continue using civilian infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territory for their own purposes.
