Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces have eliminated Major General Anton Grunis, commander of the 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region.
Ukrinform reports this, citing Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in a Facebook post.
“A man with a Lithuanian surname, born in Kazan, is fighting brilliantly” — Putin on General Grunis (“Grozny”), who reported in July that Kostiantynivka had been fully captured and subsequently received the title of Hero of Russia, the Unmanned Systems Forces commander said.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of 2026, Russian military personnel losses have exceeded 300,000.
