The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov in his video address on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Dear residents of Kharkiv, please stay safe, spend less time outside homes or bomb shelters. Please remember that the war is going on, and the enemy has not only increased the intensity of shelling but also focused on the disinformation campaign. Thus, I ask you to believe not in something put up by strangers at your entrances or something you may hear in queues but use official information sources,” Terekhov told.
In his words, the situation in Kharkiv has been restless in recent days. Hence, the mayor decided to cancel his scheduled visit to Madrid to ensure effective coordination with Kharkiv defense forces, the maximum vitality of the city and municipal services.
