The enemy's shelling damaged civilian infrastructure in the said settlements and left many residents homeless.

It is noted that these actions pose a direct threat to the lives and health of civilians, contrary to international humanitarian law, which explicitly prohibits attacks on civilians and civilian objects.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is run into violations of the laws and customs of war (parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

At the same time, according to Vitaliy Kucheruk, CEO of the Kherson International Airport, as a result of Russian aggression, an airport employee Ihor Dokienko was killed in Chornobayivka by a Russian shelling on May 18.
