The visit of the U.S. Senate delegation sends a strong signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine from both Congress and the American people.

President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The visit of the U.S. Senate delegation led by the head of the Republican minority in the upper house of Congress, Mitchell McConnell, sends a strong signal of bipartisan support for Ukraine by the United States Congress and the American people. Thank you for your leadership in helping us in our fight not only for our country but also for democratic values and freedoms. We really appreciate that," Zelensky said.

According to the President's press service, during a meeting with the Senate delegation, Zelensky noted the special role the United States plays in increasing sanctions pressure on Russia.
