Ukraine appreciates visit by Bundestag president on Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation - Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a meeting with Bas in Kyiv on Sunday, Ukrinform reports.
"We appreciate that on the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation, in such a difficult time for us during the war, the President of the German Bundestag, Barbel Bas, came to support Ukraine," Zelensky said.
He thanked Bas for a number of documents recently adopted in the Bundestag in support of Ukraine, including the resolution on support for Ukraine with heavy weapons.
"It's very important today. This is one of the priority things for Ukraine. I would like you and the Bundestag to support us in the issues of [...] Ukraine's future membership in the European Union," Zelensky said.
