According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Odesa City Council said this on Telegram, referring to the Operational Command South.
"The enemy carried out another missile strike on several regions of Ukraine. In the southern direction, in the area of our responsibility, it is the Odesa and Kirovohrad regions," the statement reads.
Two missiles fired by Russian troops from the Caspian direction hit the railway infrastructure in the Kirovograd region. Unfortunately, casualties were reported.
According to the report, three missiles fired at the Odesa region were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
On May 3, Russian invaders also launched missile strikes on the Lviv, Vinnytsia and Zakarpattia regions.
