Ukrainian defenders shot down Russian helicopter ‘Alligator’

Ukrainian servicepersons from the separate mechanized brigade Kholodnyi Yar destroyed a Russian helicopter on the night into April 15.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"This is Russia’s helicopter Ka-52 Alligator, a commander's aircraft of the army," the report says.
The General Staff noted that Ukrainian soldiers "deducted" $15 million from the budget of the Russian Federation.
"This is the price only of equipment, but there is also the training of pilots ... and compensation to their relatives," the General Staff said.
