The greatest number of children affected by the war was recorded in the Kyiv region - 69, the Kharkiv region - 49, the Donetsk region - 54, the Chernihiv region - 39, the Mykolaiv region - 30, the Luhansk region - 28, the Zaporizhia region - 22, the Kherson region - 25, the Ukrainian capital - 16, the Sumy region - 16, the Zhytomyr region - 15.
Russian bombing and shelling damaged 790 educational institutions. Seventy-five of them were completely destroyed. The situation is the worst in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.
This data is not conclusive, as it is not possible to inspect the sites of shelling in areas of active hostilities and in the temporarily occupied territories.
