Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Viacheslav Chaus announced on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The city of Nizhyn was under attack and there was chaotic shelling of Chernihiv. The Moscow scum continue losing many resources, both equipment and manpower. The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflict devastating blows on them and the enemy, agonizing, fire on civilian infrastructure,” he said.
According to Chaus, public utility and energy companies are trying to restore the destroyed infrastructure. Special services deliver medicines and products to people. However, some territorial communities are under Russian occupation and it is difficult to reach there now.
The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
