Agents of the ATESH guerrilla movement carried out a successful sabotage operation on a Russian army communications facility near Sevastopol, resulting in the destruction of radio-electronic warfare antennas that were interfering with Ukrainian drones in the area.

According to Ukrinform, ATESH reported this on Telegram.

"On the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol, ATESH agents carried out a successful sabotage operation on a communications facility where the occupiers had placed antennas for electronic warfare systems. The equipment was located on a tower near the village of Honcharne," the report said.

According to the movement, this tower was equipped with electronic warfare antennas that created obstacles for Ukrainian drones in the sector.

In particular, ATESH agents set fire to relay cabinets at the base of the tower, which housed power electronics and high-frequency cables.

As noted, when damaged, the antennas at the top turn into scrap metal: The signal does not reach, and restoring such equipment is very difficult, expensive, and time-consuming.

“The work of the enemy's electronic warfare in the area has been completely stopped. This has opened up an air corridor for the effective use of drones by the Ukrainian defense forces,” ATESH emphasized.

In addition, according to the ATESH resistance movement, there are military facilities located nearby that have become easy targets for the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in particular the 58th CMTO – warehouses of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's reserve of communications equipment; the Black Sea Fleet's backup command post “Alsu-2” and the 15th Separate Coastal Missile and Artillery Brigade.

As reported by Ukrinform, flight activity by Russian invaders at the Saky Military Airfield in the temporarily occupied Crimea has sharply decreased after a series of strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
