Defense forces destroy 18 out of 24 Shahed drones at night

On the night of May 3-4, 2023, the enemy again attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones launched from the north (Briansk region) and from the south – the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov. The Russians used up to 24 Shahed-136/131 combat drones.
"This time, the forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense units of other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 18 combat UAVs," the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

Anti-aircraft missile weapons, aviation, and mobile fire groups were used in the areas of responsibility of the air commands "South" and "Center".
