Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka at epicenter of military operations

This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, March 28, published on Facebook.

The settlements of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and their outskirts remain at the epicenter of military operations. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 24 enemy attacks in the specified directions during the day.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.

During the day, the enemy shelled the areas of Bilopillia and Volfyne in Sumy region; Tymofiyivka, Chervona Zoria, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Komisarove, Ustynivka, and Stroyivka in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy made futile offensive attempts in the areas of Krokhmalne, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamyanske and Berestove settlements. Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Kutkivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Vilshana, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Nevske, Kuzmyne, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Spirne in Donetsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues its assault on the city of Bakhmut. However, the Ukrainian defenders courageously hold the city and repel numerous enemy attacks. During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, and Ozarianivka settlements in Donetsk region. The invaders struck Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, Shumy, and Mayorsk in Donetsk region.

In Avdiivka and Marinka directions, the enemy went on the offensive in the direction of Stepove, Pervomaiske, and Marinka in Donetsk region, had no success. Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Stepove, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Marinka, Pobieda, Paraskoviivka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region were hit.

In Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Vremivka in Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to hold the defense in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. The invaders shelled Novosilka, Novopil in Donetsk region; Huliaypole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Antonivka and Kherson in Kherson region.

During the day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched five strikes on the enemy personnel and military equipment clusters. Missile and artillery units hit an enemy command post, a manpower, weapons and military equipment cluster, and an ammunition depot.

"During the day, the enemy launched 11 airstrikes, two missile strikes, and more than 10 MLRS attacks," the General Staff added.
