The Russian Federation showed a contempt gesture by shelling a mosque in Kharkiv city while the president of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, was on his visit to Iran to request weapons.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, wrote on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Classical Russian Jesuitism. Come to Tehran to bow and beg from the Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khameneri ‘weapons for the second world’s army’ and at the same time attack mosque in Kharkiv. For barbarians nothing is sacred. But will Iran understand the contempt gesture from Kremlin?” he wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, in the morning of July 20, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv city, killing three civilians, including a 13-year-old boy. As a result of the missile strike, a mosque in the Kyiv district of the city was also damaged.
