Russian troops killed 108 children in Ukraine

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said this in a statement released on Telegram.

As of the morning of March 17, 108 children were killed and more than 120 were injured. Children suffered the most in Kyiv region - 52, Kharkiv region - 34, Donetsk region - 25, Chernihiv region - 24, Mykolaiv region - 20, Zhytomyr region - 15 Sumy region – 14, and Kherson region - 10.

The bombings and shelling damaged more than 411 educational institutions, 63 of which were completely destroyed. The greatest number of damaged educational institutions was recorded in Donetsk region - 119, Kharkiv region - 77, Mykolaiv region - 30, Sumy region - 28, Kyiv region - 35, Kherson region – 21, and in Kyiv - 24.

More than 11 medical institutions and three rehabilitation centers were shelled, including centers for children with disabilities.

This data is not final due to the inability to inspect the sites where active hostilities are happening and in the temporarily occupied territories.
