Rustem Umerov stated that the Florida talks on ending Russia’s war continued the success of the previous meeting in Geneva.

The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary and head of the Ukrainian delegation said this to journalists following the meeting, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“Once again, we are grateful to the American people, American leadership, and a great team with State Secretary, Steve Witkoff , Jared Kushner, for their tremendous work with us,” Umerov said.

He emphasized that the main goal of the joint efforts is a prosperous and strong Ukraine.

“We discussed all the important matters that are important for Ukraine, for Ukrainian people, and U.S. was super supportive,” the NSDC Secretary added.

Umerov also recalled the successful meeting in Geneva and noted that on Sunday, the parties “continued this success.”
