Russian invaders have already shelled 63 hospitals, killing five health workers

"Already 63 hospitals have been shelled by Russian terrorists in Ukraine. Unfortunately, we have lost five health workers, more than 10 have been seriously wounded and cannot work now. There are lightly wounded health workers who have begun to perform their duties," Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko said on TV, Ukrinform reports.
The situation with hospitals and their provision remains under Ministry’s control in the regions where there is no shelling, he added.
As reported, since the beginning of the war, UAH 11.6 billion has been transferred to healthcare facilities under the healthcare guarantee program. Funds received from the National Health Insurance Fund can be spent by hospitals on salaries of health workers, purchase of necessary medical products, and medicines.
