According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram.
“We are receiving reports of a fire in the Obolonskyi district as a result of an enemy attack,” he wrote.
A short time later, the official added that people were being evacuated from the building affected by the attack.
“One woman was injured in the attack and is receiving assistance on site,” Tkachenko said.
As reported, explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert declared due to the threat of drones. Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported on the work of the air defense forces.
As a reminder, air defense forces neutralized 39 of the 52 drones with which the Russians attacked Ukraine on the evening of January 3.
