Putin's party gag orders for Russian MPs released

Gag orders, distributed among members of Putin's United Russia ruling party, were brought to the attention of the Information Resistance group.

As Ukrinform reports with reference to the Information Resistance website, the gag orders consist of a set of propaganda narratives about aggression against Ukraine which is widely used by the Russian media and should be voiced by the national leader's fellow party members at Russian State Duma meetings.

“There is nothing new in them [gag orders]. If you read the text carefully, you can see the traditional accusations against Ukraine in preparing a feigned "attack on Donbas", establishing biolabs and other nonsense fed to ordinary Russians to justify the bloody war that Putin's regime unleashed against Ukraine. There are references to the statements by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, which, in fact, are also fake and have nothing to do with reality,” the report reads.

The United Russia party members admit that they have to take part in the information war against Ukraine and the whole world, while they continue to push the idea of glorifying any events related to the war, thus making bloody events the cornerstone of Russia's national idea, which is obvious parallels with Hitler's Germany. However, unfortunately, we are talking about a neighboring country in the 21st century, the Information Resistance group writes.

On February 24, president Putin announced the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian towns and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket system, and ballistic missiles.
