War update: 134 clashes on frontline in past 24 hours, 38 attacks repelled in Pokrovsk sector

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, detailing the operational situation as of 8:00 on Thursday, December 18.

The enemy carried out 42 airstrikes, dropping 136 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 4,855 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,869 artillery strikes, including 118 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Guided bomb strikes targeted Pokrovske, Pidhavrylivka, Bratske in Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Sviatopetrivka, Kushuhum, and Zaporizhzhia in Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units successfully struck a cluster of Russian personnel, command posts, and two other critical enemy targets.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, three clashes occurred; the enemy carried out 139 shelling attacks, including nine from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, there were six Russian assaults near Lyman, Odradne, Dovhenke, and toward Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three Russian attacks near Zahryzove, Pishchane, and Hlushkivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces carried out15 attacks near Novovodiane, Kolodiazi, Drobysheve, Novoselivka, and toward Cherneshchyna.

In the Sloviansk sector, five attacks occurred near Serebrianka, Siversk, Zvanivka, and Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no clashes were reported.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russians conducted 17 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Kostiantynivka and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 38 enemy assaults were repelled near Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy attacked nine times near Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Solodke, Pryvilne, Krasnohirsk, and toward Dobropillia.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces carried out ten attacks near Huliaipole and toward Varvarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, there were three enemy assaults near Plavni.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no enemy offensive actions were reported.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groupings formation were spotted.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to December 18, 2025, are estimated at around 1,193,300 personnel, including 950 in the past 24 hours.
