Britain may send at least 10,000 troops to Ukraine - The Times

According to the source, Starmer has received “much more support” for his plan than the three countries that initially offered to send part of their military.

Most likely, the bulk of these forces will consist of troops from the UK and France.

Among other things, a military source said that the final number of Western troops will be “more than 10,000.” 

It is noted that about 35 countries have agreed to provide weapons, logistical and intelligence support for the mission in Ukraine.

In the event of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, this should deter Russian leader Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine again. 

As reported by Ukrinform, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, after a virtual meeting with allies in the “coalition of the willing,” said that about 25 leaders of allied countries agreed on Saturday to continue to tighten restrictions on the Russian economy to force Putin to the negotiating table and end the war against Ukraine.
