Russian army loses 1,220 more soldiers in Ukraine over past day

The Russian army’s combat losses in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to July 9, 2024 amount to nearly 553,410 invaders, including another 1,220 troops killed or wounded in action in the past day.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
The Ukrainian defenders have also destroyed 8,178 enemy tanks (+7 in the past day), 15,704 armored combat vehicles (+19), 15,015 artillery systems (+49), 1,115 multiple launch rocket systems, 880 air defense systems, 361 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 11,922 unmanned aerial vehicles (+29), 2,389 cruise missiles (+36), 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 20,212 motor vehicles (+62), and 2,516 special equipment units (+13).
