Providing Patriot battery systems is important step towards creating air shield over Ukraine – Zelensky

“This [providing the Patriot air defense systems – Ed.] is an important step towards creating an air shield for Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the new security assistance package from the United States, which was announced on Wednesday, and its “strongest element”, the Patriot air defense systems.
