Ukraine has received new F-16 mobile simulators, which will enable more effective training of Ukrainian pilots for complex combat operations.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Facebook.
“Ukraine has received new F-16 mobile simulators. There are only a handful of such systems in the world. Now our pilots have even more opportunities to train, practice complex combat scenarios, and hone their skills without using actual aircraft,” Fedorov said.
He noted that each simulator was designed specifically for training Ukrainian pilots. Thanks to their mobility, they can be quickly relocated to ensure uninterrupted training.
Fedorov also recalled that Ukraine had previously received its first mobile F-16 simulators. The new delivery will increase training intensity and expand opportunities to train more crews without compromising instructional quality.
“Defending Ukraine’s airspace remains one of our key priorities. F-16s are one of the most effective means of intercepting aerial targets. They shoot down Russian missiles and help save the lives of our people. The better trained a crew is, the more effectively it carries out combat missions,” the minister emphasized.
