War update: over 200 combat engagements in 24 hrs, Pokrovsk under heaviest assault

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in an update as of 08:00 on Wednesday, December 3.

The enemy launched one missile strike and 52 airstrikes, using one missile and 153 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians carried out 3,787 shelling attacks, including 50 with multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 4,406 kamikaze drones.

Russian forces conducted airstrikes on settlements of Kupiansk and Kivsharivka in Kharkiv region, Pokrovske, Mykhailo-Zavodske and Danylivka in Dnipropetrovsk region, Yasnohirka in Donetsk region, Dobropillia, Novoiakovlivka, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, Vozdvyzhivka and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia region.

Aviation, missile troops and artillery of Ukrainian Defense Forces struck three clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks. The invaders carried out 163 shelling attacks, including two with MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces stopped 15 enemy attacks near Prylipka, Starytsia, Synelnykove, Vovchansk, as well as towards Kolodiazne and Izbytske.

In the Kupiansk sector, there were eight Russian attacks. Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled assaults near Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane and Nova Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 31 times, trying to break into Ukrainian defenses near Novovodiane, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Serednie, Karpivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Zarichne and toward Stepove.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled 12 Russian attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Siversk and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no combat engagements were recorded yesterday.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 27 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 52 Russian assault actions near Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and toward Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy conducted 18 attacks near Yalta, Tovste, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirske and Pryvilne.

In the Huliaipole sector, five combat engagements were recorded. Russian forces attacked near Zatyshshia, Huliaipole and toward Pryluky.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian invaders did not conduct offensive operations.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian units repelled one assault attempt near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive groupings being formed were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022 to December 3, 2025 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,176,230 personnel, including 1,200 over the past day.
