According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi reported this on Facebook.
“The enemy is reinforcing troops, continuing offensive operations, and increasing their intensity, carrying out missile strikes on residential areas that result in numerous civilian casualties,” the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
Syrskyi noted that the parties discussed enhancing Ukraine’s capabilities in air defense, Deep Strike operations, drone systems, and personnel training for the Defense Forces.
“I reiterated that strengthening the defense of Ukrainian airspace, expanding our long-range strikes on enemy military targets, and holding and stabilizing the frontline are essential to undermining the enemy’s offensive capabilities, ultimately forcing them toward a just peace,” he said.
The Commander-in-Chief also recalled that Deep Strike operations have already proven effective in disrupting Russian military logistics and neutralizing their combat potential. “Operations against oil refineries aim to make the war increasingly disadvantageous for Moscow, thereby rendering it unprofitable for the enemy,” Syrskyi added.
He emphasized that another key area is cooperation in technology. “I am convinced that Ukraine’s unique combat experience and rapid innovation cycles will help scale mutually beneficial Ukrainian-American collaboration in the defense sector,” Syrskyi stressed.
