"The occupier attacked the regional center with missiles. The enemy's targets were infrastructure facilities," Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.
Information about the destruction and casualties is being clarified.
Several explosions rang out in the city.
Later, Starukh informed that residential buildings were destroyed in the city.
"As a result of enemy attacks, fires broke out in the city. Residential buildings were destroyed. The exact number of casualties is not yet known," he wrote.
Rescuers are already working at the scene.
