Throughout June, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continued a systematic campaign against the Russian operational rear using middle strike systems, focusing in particular on strikes against bridges, air defense assets, and military warehouses.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine stated this on its website, Ukrinform reports.
"The destruction of logistics, warehouses, headquarters, air defense systems, and other components of Russia's offensive activity using middle strike systems is aimed at implementing Ukraine's defensive strategy, including stopping the enemy on the ground," the ministry said.
Russian logistics were among the priority targets in June. During the month, strikes were carried out on 15 bridges (8 railway and 7 road bridges) in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which the enemy uses to transfer equipment, ammunition, and manpower:
in temporarily occupied Crimea — four bridges (Rozdolne, Voinka, Vladyslavivka, Ichky);
in the Zaporizhzhia region — four bridges (Petershagen, Vasylivka, the Korsak River, Azovske);
in the Kherson region — three bridges (Stavky, Henichesk Strait, Chonhar);
in the Donetsk region — two bridges (Hranitne, Novoazovsk);
in the Luhansk region — two bridges (the Aidar and Luhanchyk rivers).
Bridges are important arteries of Russian military logistics.
The targeted and systematic disabling of bridge infrastructure on key logistical routes isolates individual sections of the front and complicates or makes impossible the operational replenishment of reserves.
In addition, nine air defense and related radar infrastructure facilities were hit in June:
four Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (Vydne in Crimea, the Kerch Strait area — two units, Feodosia, and Dolynske in Zaporizhzhia region);
three S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems (the Kerch Strait area — two weapon systems and a radar station from the S-400 battery);
the RBSN-4N short-range radio navigation system (Saky airfield);
the Nebo radar system (Kerch area);
the Skala-M radar complex (Kerch area).
These successful operations are part of a systematic strategy aimed at creating "blind spots" in the enemy's defense.
The destruction of radar stations and air defense systems deprives the Russians of the ability to shield their military assets and opens the way for further effective strikes by the Defense Forces.
In June, more than 30 strikes on various types of warehouses were recorded, where logistics supplies, fuel and lubricants, UAVs, and ammunition were stored.
