The Ukrainian president stated this during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
We support the idea of the United States, of personally President Trump, to stop this war, to make a diplomatic way of finishing this war. And we are ready for a trilateral meeting,” Zelensky said.
He noted that the Ukrainian people live under constant shelling, and everyone wants to “stop this war, stop Russia.”
“We live under constant attacks. You know that there were attacks today as well—many people were wounded, several people were killed, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child. We want to stop this war, we want to stop Russia. We are engaging American and European partners to do everything possible to achieve this,” the Ukrainian president stressed.
