This was reported on television by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“There are currently 1,327 people remaining in Pokrovsk, where the situation is most difficult, with the enemy about a kilometer away. But our defense forces are doing everything possible to hold back the occupiers, they are very powerful,” said the head of the region.
According to him, evacuation from the city is currently only possible with the support of the Ukrainian military.
“As for evacuation, it is almost impossible without the Defense Forces, as the enemy is shooting down all access roads with FPV drones on fiber optics... Those who want to leave now can only do so with the support of the Defense Forces,” Filashkin added.
