In an evening video address, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that an investigation into all the circumstances surrounding the tragedy in the village of Myla in the Kyiv region is ongoing.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated in the address published on the President’s website.

“Today we spoke with the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Security Service of Ukraine regarding the situation in the Kyiv region, in the Bucha district, following the terrible tragedy and explosions at ammunition and weapons storage sites. Such sites definitely should not have been there. An investigation into all the circumstances is ongoing. All the details must be clarified, and they will be,” Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, he expects law enforcement agencies to provide the public with the relevant information.

“It is important that the decisions of the government and local authorities to help our people be implemented as quickly as possible. Tomorrow is an important day. A report on the matter should be presented tomorrow. I want to thank everyone who stands with the people, with Ukraine, and who is truly seeking solutions that will strengthen us and help us. Solutions that will help us stand firm and protect our country and our people,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the number of casualties in the village of Myla in the Kyiv region has risen to 52, including five children; 38 people have died.
