According to an Ukrinform correspondent, he made the statement at a briefing after a meeting at the White House.
"Security guarantees will likely be shared by our partners, and more details will appear, since over the next week to ten days this will in some way be formalized on paper," Zelensky said.
He stressed that a strong army must be the foundation of Ukraine's security.
"This is the challenge. After the war ends, we cannot lose the army, we cannot allow it to be reduced several times over due to a lack of funding. And we won't have enough money in the budget for this, so we need additional financing," Zelensky said.
He added that he is determined to secure the funds.
"For this, our European partners must understand that we need to find a source of financing for a fairly long period, so that it becomes part of the security guarantees," he said.

"The second point is a U.S. weapons package, which includes systems we don't have, primarily aircraft, air defense systems, and so on. There really is a package with our proposals worth $90 billion," Zelensky said.
In addition, Ukraine reached an agreement with the United States that "once our exports resume, they will purchase Ukrainian drones."
"This is important for us because it will help finance domestic drone production, giving our companies resources to expand. There could also be joint production with partners," he said.
He added that the security guarantees would also specify "what forces will act to protect Ukraine in case of renewed aggression."
As reported, talks at the White House first took place between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, and later expanded to include European leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Zelensky noted that the main topics of his discussion with Trump were security guarantees for Ukraine, as well as the return of prisoners of war and deported children.
