Pope Francis, in his Angelus reflection, circulated in written form, called on the faithful to continue praying for countries affected by war, including Ukraine.

This was reported by Vatican News, Ukrinform saw

"Let us continue to pray for peace, especially in countries wounded by war: tormented Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Myanmar, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo," the pontiff called.

It is noted that this is the fifth Sunday that Pope Francis has spent in hospital, so the text of his reflections was published at noon by the press service of the Holy See.

“I share these thoughts with you as I am going through a period of trial, uniting with many brothers and sisters who are sick: as vulnerable at this time as I am,” the Pope writes.

He thanked all the faithful for their prayers, as well as all those who “with great dedication” are taking care of him during this period.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of March 11, the Pope’s health was no longer in immediate danger, and the pontiff is recovering after bilateral pneumonia.
