Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today [on August 20], the government adopted a number of important decisions in the areas of reconstruction, healthcare, and education. We allocated UAH 300 million for rebuilding the Kyiv region," Svyrydenko wrote.
Read also: Ukrainian, Estonian prime ministers discuss European integration, defense cooperationShe clarified that the funds will come from the Fund for Eliminating the Consequences of Armed Aggression and will be used to complete ongoing reconstruction projects. According to her, the funding will allow the restoration of 988 apartments for nearly 3,000 residents and ensure educational opportunities for over 1,200 children by completing shelters at four schools.
"This decision will help restore housing in Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, and other communities in the region affected by the full-scale invasion," Svyrydenko added.
