He made this statement during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“We’re going to send some more weapons. We have to,” the U.S. President said.
According to him, Ukrainians must be able to defend themselves. “They're getting hit very hard now,” Trump noted, pointing out that many people are dying in Ukraine.
"We're going to have to send more weapons, defensive weapons, primarily," he stressed.
