In the temporarily occupied parts of the Luhansk region, farmers have been ordered to surrender at least 30% of their diesel fuel reserves for the needs of the Russian army.

This was reported on Telegram by Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“In the so-called ‘LPR,’ farmers have been ordered to hand over at least 30% of their diesel fuel reserves for the war effort. A similar decision has been made regarding local industrial enterprises. The occupation administration explains this by a shortage of diesel fuel in Russian army units operating in the Luhansk region,” the statement said.

In addition, Kharchenko said that the occupiers in the settlement of Lutuhyne failed to procure passenger transport services. The tender was announced in January, but no bids were submitted during that time.

As a result, residents of smaller settlements have been left without regular bus services. “Any travel is now only possible by private vehicle or taxi,” the head of the administration added.
