According to Ukrinform, the brigade’s press service reported this on Facebook and released a video of the combat operations.
“Over the course of Saturday and Sunday, the Russian command deployed significant infantry forces for a breakthrough in the Pokrovsk sector. They attempted to advance using cars, quad bikes, and motorcycles. Aerial reconnaissance by the Spartan brigade detected the enemy’s intentions in a timely manner,” the statement said.
It is noted that National Guard troops, together with adjacent units, repelled another Russian offensive attempt and inflicted heavy losses. In particular, 127 assault troops were killed, nine invaders were wounded, and seven more were taken prisoner.
In addition, enemy equipment was destroyed, including 10 quad bikes, three light vehicles, and two motorcycles.
