The unit reported this on Facebook, releasing combat footage, according to Ukrinform.
“At the beginning of February, Lasar’s Group of the National Guard carried out a special operation in the Luhansk region. Thanks to the effective actions of the crews, 13 units of high-value Russian equipment were successfully hit,” the statement said.
The enemy assets were located within the areas of responsibility of the 3rd and 10th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Lasar’s Group aerial reconnaissance detected several clusters of equipment while analyzing the enemy’s firing positions, including a loading point for the TOS-1A Solntsepyok, a command-and-staff vehicle, and an artillery platoon.
The Russian equipment was hidden deep behind the line of contact. Crews of Lasar’s Group heavy bomber drones were deployed to strike the locations.
Ukrainian forces delivered precision strikes against the following equipment: three 2S7 Pion self-propelled artillery systems, one TOS-1A Solntsepyok, one TZM-T transport-loading vehicle, one command-and-staff vehicle, and seven armored combat vehicles.
The carefully planned special operation significantly reduced the shelling of forward Ukrainian positions in the areas of responsibility of the two corps and weakened the enemy’s offensive capabilities.
