Reuters reported this in an article, citing three sources familiar with the meeting plan, according to Ukrinform.
"U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio are expected to brief the 'Gang of Eight' lawmakers on Tuesday afternoon," the report said.
The meeting will take place behind closed doors.

However, it is noted that the meeting was convened following the release of the U.S. national security strategy by the administration. The briefing is expected to begin at 15:30 Washington time (22:30 Kyiv time).
As reported, the term "Gang of Eight" is an informal designation for a bipartisan group of eight members of Congress from both chambers who hold leadership positions on intelligence committees. Under the law, these lawmakers are authorized to receive classified intelligence information from the executive branch.
